Blake Martin is a powerhouse in the fashion and entertainment industries, known for his dynamic versatility as a fashion show producer, creative director, photographer, author, playwright, and entrepreneur. With a career spanning nearly two decades, Blake has produced over 300 high-energy fashion shows across the globe—including a 40-city tour in China—and has worked with top-tier brands like Gucci, Nike, Adidas, Timberland, and Tommy Hilfiger.
As the founder and CEO of FROW Media Group (formerly Blake Martin Productions), he has redefined fashion show production with innovation, spectacle, and style. In 2018, his impact was formally recognized when he received the Fashion Producer of the Year award in New York City.
Blake expanded into high-end editorial photography in 2021, quickly gaining acclaim for his bold, vibrant visuals. He became the first Chicago-based African-American photographer to have work featured on a billboard in Times Square, and his images have graced the pages of American Vogue and Vogue Japan. His celebrity portfolio includes Rickey Smiley, Shawnna, Latavia Roberson of Destiny’s Child, B2K, Donald Lawrence, and Ta’Rhonda Jones.
In 2023, Blake released his bestselling memoir, "Baggage Claim," which reached #7 on Amazon’s Self-Help chart. The book chronicles his journey through trauma, reinvention, and creative triumph—cementing his voice as not just a visual storyteller, but an inspiring author and public speaker.
That same year, Blake expanded his creative reach into writing and directing for the stage. His debut play, For Colored Boys, and its sequel, For Colored Boys 2, both sold out in Chicago, drawing wide acclaim. Most recently, his third production, THE CIRCLE, continued that momentum—packing theaters and drawing thousands of attendees across performances. The success of these original works has caught the attention of major networks, including Hulu, who have taken notice of Blake’s unique voice and storytelling style.
He is also the founder of 3rd Week of January Productions, a creative house for his theater, TV, and film projects. Blake holds a business credential from Harvard University’s entrepreneurial program and currently serves as International Creative Director for Paris-based MALVIE Magazine and Editor-in-Chief of BEZEL Magazine. His creative influence extends into music management, where he executive produced rap artist Mikey Everything’s debut
